Twice in 2020 in April & Nov the Govt had been warned about the danger of oxygen shortage.

The Govt took 8 months to invite bids for oxygen-generation plants worth just 200 crore. 6months more wasted.

10/3/21 the BJP Chief Minister TS Rawat was replaced. He wanted to restrict the Kumbh Mela to a purely ceremonial & symbolic one.

Kumbh takes place every 12 years & was about to be held in 2022. But Astrologers convinced the dispensation April, 21 was more auspicious. 8/21

In Feb 2021 the EC announced an 8-phase election in West Bengal.
The state ruling TMC opposed, also raised concern but EC was adamant.

PM Modi began a rally in WB on 07/2/21 in Haldia.
At this time new cases are rising by 11000 daily.
